Angus Fanshawe MRICS
Angus Fanshawe is a leading enfranchisement and residential valuation surveyor based in central London.
Angus worked for six years with Strutt and Parker, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1990 before moving to Douglas & Gordon in 1994 to set up a professional valuation department, becoming a Director of the company in 2002. After fifteen years with D&G, based in South Kensington, Angus decided to leave the company to set up Fanshawe White with his former colleague James White.

Angus is one of London’s best known enfranchisement valuers. He is renowned for his no nonsense approach, for producing sensible, practical advice and then achieving successful results for his clients. He often appears as expert valuation witness at the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT), but always strives to reach an amicable settlement through negotiation whenever possible.
Angus is a regular contributor to the property and national press. He has addressed the annual LEASE conference on valuation issues and has even produced a CPD training DVD for enfranchisement practitioners.
Angus is a Committee Member of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP), a recently established association which maintains the highest professional standards among its members. He is also is a Trustee of The Hedley Foundation, a charitable foundation based in the City with property investments throughout the UK.
